Foxtoberfest will host over 500 Fox-Body Mustangs in 2018!

Foxtoberfest is not your traditional car show; we welcome all Fox-Bodies regardless of their restoration stage. You’ll see beautiful low-mileage show cars right next to multi-colored projects and that’s the way we like it! This is a feel-good, cruise-in type show where Fox fans can come together and experience a sense of community. Last year we hosted 466 Foxes and we are sure to break 500 this year! The show features a popular vote format where every registered show participant gets a ballot and decides who receives the coveted trophies for classes like “1987-93 Best Original” as well as the give-aways donated from our sponsons like “Most In Need of Upholstery”. Last year’s All-Fox Swap Meet was a big hit and we’re bringing it back full force! Bring your cash because you are sure to find some treasures out there! Fox-Body parts, new and used, will be available for sale at the event as well as a huge stock of Mustang and Ford logo accessories like hats, shirts, belts, dog collars, you name it! NEW! Foxtoberfest VIP Experience: Want to experience Foxtoberfest in style? Our new VIP Experience gets you right in the middle of the action and leaves everyone else wishing they were you! Included in this package is early parking (7:00am), 2 parking spaces per Fox in premium location, VIP tent with catered lunch, 2 beer tickets, a VIP decal and one limited-edition commemorative jacket only available to VIPs.

NEW! Fox Hunt: This year we are doing a driving event in the form of a self-guided poker run called The Fox Hunt. Sign up and get a list of locations where you will be given a playing card on Thursday, October 11 & Friday, October 12. Collect enough cards to form a poker hand and you’ll be entered to win some awesome prizes including a 2019 Foxtoberfest VIP Experience. The Fox Hunt will run Thursday and Friday and prizes will be awarded at the Foxtoberfest awards ceremony on Saturday. Anyone can participate (Age 18+), you do not have to be the driver, multiple people in the same car can play. Full details will be mailed to you prior to the event.

Thursday October 11 Events:

NEW! Foxtoberfest is taking over the Test & Tune at Mooresville Dragway in Mooresville, NC. Come on out and see what your Fox can do on the strip or just hang out and watch the action from the stands! We’ll be out there selling event shirts, so be the first to get one! Friday October 12 Events:

The Foxtoberfest Kickoff Party will be held at Cabarrus Brewing Company from 5-9pm. They have delicious craft brews and plenty of food trucks! Saturday October 13 Event:

Foxtoberfest, the main car show is open from 9am-4pm. Spectator parking is $5, please bring cash. Parking starts at 8:00am. VIP Experience parking starts at 7:00am. Swap Meet setup starts at 7:00am. Awards ceremony starts at 3:00pm.

Sunday October 14 Event:

The Sunday charity breakfast has been canceled. Make sure to buy tickets to the 50/50 raffle at the car show to support Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Last year Foxtoberfest raised $1,800 for this amazing organization!

Where should I stay?

Here is a list of hotels that are closest to the show:

If you are looking for more options check I-85 exit 49, it’s referred to as the “Concord Mills” area on hotel booking sites. This area is about 15 minutes from the event and is the home of Charlotte Motor Speedway NASCAR track. It has a large variety of accomodations and restaurants and is home to the Concord Mills Mall, the largest outlet mall in NC.

Can I pay at the gate?

Yes! Early registration ends Friday, September 28 at 11:00am, but you can still be in the show! The cost is $25 for car show or $75 for swap meet or to sell your Fox, please bring cash. The Foxtoberfest VIP Experience is not available for purchase at the show, pre-registration only.

If I pre-registered do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, the only thing you need to bring is the window sticker that was mailed to you.

What if my Fox isn’t good enough for the show, but I still want to bring it?

EVERY FOX IS SHOW-WORTHY! Our show welcomes Foxes at every restoration stage! We even have a trophy for “Best Daily Driver”. All non-registered cars will be parked in spectator parking ($5 charge), but we hate to see Foxes over there. The $15 pre-registration gets you in the middle of the action and parked next to other Foxes of the same model and it’ll be in the photos!

Is there a fee for spectators?

Spectator parking is $5 per vehicle, paid at the gate, please bring cash. There is no per-person charge. There is no charge for tow vehicles used for paid show cars.

Is truck & trailer parking available?

Yes, we have secured an additional off-site lot for trucks & trailers this year. There is no fee for parking in this lot. It’s the Lane Street Baptist Church, 2532 Lane Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083 and it’s 1.1 miles from the show field. We will have a parking attendant in this lot from 7-10am and then an officer patroling the area until 5pm.

Will food be available?

Yes, food is available for purchase from several food trucks.

Can I bring a Mustang to Foxtoberfest that’s not a Fox-Body?

Yes, you are welcome to bring other year Mustangs, but you will be parked in spectator parking at a $5 charge. Only Fox-Bodies will be allowed on the show field.

Can I bring a non-Mustang Fox to Foxtoberfest?

Yes, any registered car that sits on a fox chassis will be allowed in the show. In fact, we even have a trophy category for non-Mustang Foxes!

Can I bring a Fox-Body with an LS motor to Foxtoberfest?

Yes, any registered car that sits on a fox chassis will be allowed in the show.

What can I bring into the event?

You may bring your own food and drink into the event. Leashed pets are welcome. Pop-up tents are welcome, but must be staked down in the grass only, ask event staff where these are allowed. No tents on pavement.

How do I get an event t-shirt?

Event t-shirts will be sold at the show and also on our website, www.foxresto.com.

What’s the refund policy?

The event is rain or shine. No refunds will be given.

Is the event family friendly?

Yes, children are welcome and there will be a playground available.

Will there be a Swap Meet?

Yes! We had a great turn-out for Swap Meet vendors last year and expect an even bigger turn out this year. This is an awesome opportunity to show your parts to 2,500 Fox fans, so clean out your garages and get to selling! Space is limited, register early to secure one.

How big are the swap meet spaces?

The swap meet spaces are 10’x20′ and will be in a grassy area. You may pop a staked tent in this area. If you would like to have a vehicle parked at your swap meet space you will need to buy two spaces. Space is limited, register early to secure one.

What can be sold at the swap meet?

We ask that the majority of your parts are Fox-Body. Any USED Fox-Body parts are allowed in the swap meet area. No new parts (except New Old Stock parts), accessories (t-shirts, hats, etc), food or drink may not be sold.

What time is Swap Meet Setup?

Swap Meet Vendor Setup starts at 7:00am on Saturday.
